Funding Priorities
The committee hopes to fund projects which will be of interest to, and enjoyed by, many residents of Bernardston. We encourage and specifically support local artists and organizations from within our community..
Local Guidelines
The Bernardston Cultural Council will consider all applications. Forms must be postmarked or hand delivered to the town hall by the deadline of Oct. 15th. We require a venue to be prearranged prior to submitting the grant request.
Application forms may be found at the town hall, or on the Massachusetts Cultural Council web site. Please submit 8 copies.
Massachusetts cultural funds are not to be used to replace existing public funds for programs in the arts and humanities.
Bernardston CC does not fund the same project for more than three consecutive years. No more than two project frants will be awarded to an applicant in a single grant year.
