Funding Priorities
Chesterfield Cultural Council is interested in funding projects that impact Chesterfield residents; proposals should demonstrate benefit to our Chesterfield community. Priority will be given to proposals from local individuals and organizations and taking place locally. We favor proposals that are clearly written and correctly filled out . There will be an effort to support different disciplines in the arts, sciences, and humanities.
Local Guidelines
Projects to be completed at a Chesterfield venue should be accompanied by a letter from a representative of that venue reflecting a commitment to host the project. Our decisions will take into account any letter of support from a Chesterfield resident. The Council will seek to achieve a balance between funding well-established previously funded projects and new projects. Applications must be typed and complete, including signature and date. Budget form must be completed, and budget figures must reconcile total revenue and expenditures. Other Cultural Councils from which funding is being requested must be identified with dollar amounts shown.
