News & Events
This year, the ECC is once again looking for grant applications that feature COLLABORATIONS.
Next summer, Easthampton City Arts+ will be presenting Bear Fest 2012. ArtWalk also takes place every second Saturday of the month. These are two projects with which you might consider collaborating. As you may know, the Cultural Council, ArtWalk and Easthampton City Arts have merged to become ECA+. For more information on the merger, check our web site:
http://www.easthamptoncityarts.com/
We'd love to see applications for projects that either take place during Bear Fest, or are thematically related to bears, leading up to the Bear Fest. Maybe you would like to participate in the St. Patrick's Day Parade with us. But don't feel limited by this 'theme' - we welcome all collaborations. Perhaps it would be fun to create a program for Easthampton school children to visit the Council on Aging for storytimes. Do you know musicians who are part of ECA+, or would you like to create a program with Arcadia or another Easthampton organization? There are lots of great collaborative opportunities throughout the city.

Local Guidelines
-- Proposed projects must benefit the Citizens of Easthampton.
-- Projects should be well-planned: include appropriate support materials, detailing a specified date, time and location.
-- Projects should further the diversity in Easthampton's programming in the arts, humanities, and interpretive sciences.
-- Where appropriate, projects should demonstrate community support (i.e. if you are planning to present your project in a public space, include letters of support or commitment to use the space; if your project is to benefit a particular group, include letters of support from that group.)
-- Applications must submit ten (10) copies of the application to the Easthampton Cultural Council (only one copy of support material is needed).
-- Support material will not be returned.
-- For further guidelines, please see the MCC required guidelines.
