Local Guidelines

The FCC strives to award MCC cultural grants to all applicants. Please follow the established FCC guidelines listed below... Grant materials must be postmarked no later than the annual deadline of October 15th. Applicant must have clear commitment of location and date of event. Applicant’s project must be clearly related to the arts, humanities, history or interpretive sciences. Applicant’s project must provide adequate public benefit for the Franklin community. Funding for applicant’s project must not substitute for or replace other public funding of programs in the arts, humanities, history or interpretive sciences. Franklin Cultural Council funds are not intended to be used as the sole source of funding of projects of a continuing nature. Applicant’s project must not violate the MCC “Non-Discrimination” criteria. Ticket prices for events will be taken into consideration during grant approval process.
