Individuals, schools, and cultural organizations are eligible to apply for funding for project support, and cultural field trips for students.

PLEASE NOTE: Available funding has been cut significantly in recent years. While the Gardner Cultural Council has been able to fully fund many projects in the past, due to limited funds, we may be more likely to fund those projects that seek partial funding.

Funding Priorities
The Gardner Cultural Council's priority is to fund cultural programs that benefit children, families, and the Gardner community at large. We will evaluate each application on its own merits and fund those that meet our guidelines and benefit Gardner residents.
Local Guidelines
PLEASE CAREFULLY READ AND FOLLOW THESE LOCAL GUIDELINES IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR FUNDING.
Please use the most current LCC or Field Trip application form. No application forms from past years will be accepted. Applications are available at at the "Forms" tab above
Application directions must be followed, and all information completed, INCLUDING THE BUDGET INFORMATION section. DO NOT ALTER the grant application.
Applicant must be a resident of Gardner or sponsored by a non-profit organization, school, or cultural organization located in Gardner. Gardner Cultural Council does not fund unscheduled or unsponsored projects or events.
Non-profit organizations must submit a copy of their ST2 form and Federal ID# must be included.
All applicants must submit a total of 3 copies of the application. All applications must be mailed to: Gardner Cultural Council, P.O. Box 705, Gardner, MA 01440 and postmarked by the deadline date. DO NOT drop completed applications at the library or City Hall.
Applications must be submitted by October 15, 2012 and apply for projects/events scheduled to occur during 2013 only. We cannot fund multi-year projects/events or projects/events occurring in remaining months of the current year.
Gardner Cultural Council does not fund capital expenditures.
Gardner Cultural Council does not fund artist is residence programs.
Grant recipients are required to acknowledge the Gardner Cultural Council and the Massachusetts Cultural Council in its marketing materials, flyers, advertisements, etc. or verbally at performances.
