Hanover Cultural Council

The Hanover Cultural Council is comprised of residents who are interested in supporting and promoting arts, humanities and sciences in Hanover. We have funded many projects in the community that span all age groups including events at the Hanover Council on Aging, Artists in residence in the Hanover Schools, Harbor Choral Arts Society concerts, special projects from the Hanover Diversity Committee and more. We also run a town wide event called Hanover Day each year in June which showcases the talents and activities in our community. During the year we have also sponsored other events such as our yearly "Kite Day" festival in partnership with the Friends of the John Curtis Library. We are always looking for ways to do outreach in our town in support of the arts, sciences & humanities

News & Events

On June 15, 2013 the HCC held its 8th annual Hanover Day celebration featuring local musicians, artists, craftsmen and much more. The event was attended by over 5000 people and culminated in a large fireworks celebration over Sylvester Field in Hanover Center. We thank the community for their support. It was a great day for the Town of Hanover! We look forward to planning other events for 2014 that help to enrich the town's cultural heritage.
