The mission of the Longmeadow Cultural Council is to provide and encourage cultural activities that are meant to strengthen the community, and enhance public education by making cultural programs meaningful and accessible to the residents of Longmeadow. Based on an annual allocation of funds, the Council strives to select a balanced diversity of local values, traditions, and customs, to be reflected in programs that will increase the quality of life in this community.

Funding Priorities
Highest priority in the awarding of grants will be given to applications (1) for activities that take place within the town of Longmeadow, (2) that are submitted by residents or organizations of the Town of Longmeadow, and (3) a project date and venue has been secured.
Local Guidelines
The Longmeadow Cultural Council focuses on providing seed money for new cultural programs open to the public in town. Strong preference is given to artists and groups who have booked a program date and time with a local venue.
