Melrose Cultural Council

Grant applications to the MCC must have a postmark no later than October 15, 2013 to be considered for the next round of funding. Organizations, schools, and individuals are encouraged to apply for grants that support cultural activities in the community. These grants can support a variety of artistic projects and activities in Melrose – including exhibits, festivals, short-term artist residencies or performances in schools, workshops and lectures. The Melrose Cultural Council will also entertain funding proposals from schools and youth groups through the PASS Program, a ticket subsidy program for school-aged children.

The Melrose Cultural Council (MCC) hosted a Community Input Meeting on Wednesday August 21, 2013. Members of the public were invited to share their ideas about funding cultural activities in Melrose and to find out more about the Melrose Cultural Council.
