Local Guidelines
In addition to the state criteria (public benefit, non-discrimination, no substitution, arts/humanities/interpretive sciences), applications will be evaluated using the following criteria:
- Application must include confirmed venue & date or time frame
- Priority given to proposals from local organizations & artists
- Maximum community/audience impact, including ratio of money spent to number served
- Collaboration between or among artists & local organizations/institutions
- Other sources of financial support or matching funds
- Strong qualifications or track record of applicant
- Originality of project
- Diversity of age groups served
- Diversity of disciplines represented (arts/humanities/interpretive sciences)
