News & Events
Please attempt to seek additional funding sources. Your assistance helps make it possible for us to approve several grants instead of a few. For example, our local schools seek funding from all towns in our regional school district. Consider charging a small fee for performances to offset costs.
Amount Available for Granting in FY 2013

Funding Priorities
All grants are judged on their own merit and as a whole considered equally.
Local Guidelines
A. Generally, all applications require a local contact. Mass mailings lacking a liason with a local organization, group or school will be rejected. Please contact local venues such as the senior center, library, rec department, or school on your own. Once contact is made and a date agreed upon, include letter from liason with application.
B. Our committee votes to approve applications on a calendar year basis. Therefore, going forward, when we review in October 2013 we will only consider applications that will occur between 1/1/14 and 12/31/14. Please plan accordingly when submitting applications. We made this change because we were receiving many requests for funding for events that had already occurred. These events cannot possibly include the Cultural Council in their publicity.
Please contact council chair with questions. We are here to assist you. Good luck!!
