FY24 Local Priorities
The Ware Cultural Council will give funding priority to artists offering programs, plays, performances, and workshops which promote culture, diversity, and inclusion through mutual respect and understanding for the benefit of Ware residents of all ages in the following three disciplines: Arts, Humanities, and Interpretive Sciences.
FY24 Local Guidelines
Please note these important guidelines for funding:
1) The Ware Cultural Council has adopted reimbursement-based grants. The Reimbursement Process will pay the awards to grantees after funds have been expended and all reimbursement forms, receipts, and publicity requirements have been submitted to the council.
2) The event must take place in Ware.
3) A venue for the event must be secured with a local organization, and a letter of support from the venue must accompany the grant application. For information about possible local venues, please contact the council chair.
4) Grant applications will only be considered for events that take place during the 2024 grant cycle year. For an approved award, the date of the event must be held after January 1, 2024.
