Funding Priorities
Applications are considered with the following priorities in mind:
• Projects that are innovative, collaborative, and creative.
• Projects that show strong planning and evidence of ability to follow through
• Projects that address a community need or reach an underserved
population.
• Projects by local artists or organizations
Local Guidelines
We encourage applicants to team up with a local organization to jointly present a cultural project which has a specified program/event date, a marketing plan for attracting the target audience to the program, and a contingency plan for partial grant funding.
Keep in mind that average grants are modest ($200-$500).
When preparing the application, follow the instructions carefully:
•**Answer all questions clearly and completely. Pay close attention to the budget section and include the amount requested as indicated.
•**Submit original plus 8 copies. Include only one set of supporting materials (resumes, testimonials, etc). The copies only may be substituted by sending one copy electronically to wrenthamculturalcouncil@gmail.com
•**Original applications and copies(unless electronic) must be mailed to the Wrentham Cultural Council, 79 South Street, Wrentham, MA 02093.
•**Applications must be postmarked no later than October 15.
