Lexington Council for the Arts
Mission
The Lexington Council for the Arts mission is to promote and fund community cultural activities which will enhance the quality of life for Lexington residents.
Grants
The Lexington Council for the Arts (LCA) administers two grant programs from the Massachusetts Cultural Council (MCC):
PASS grants, which subsidize the cost of admission for local area students to attend performances, educational tours and exhibits off school property
Local Cultural Council (LCC) Grants, which fund or partially fund proposals from individuals, schools and cultural organizations that meet MCC guidelines as well as LCA criteria.
Note: The grants are reimbursement based. (The grantees expend their own money, and after the project has taken place, they submit a form to LCA for reimbursement.)
