Priority is given to project, events and programs which directly impact and contribute to Rockland's artistic landscape and members of the Rockland community.
The purpose of the Rockland Cultural Council (RCC) is to help secure for its citizens arts and cultural programs of excellence by tapping diverse resources that provide meaningful cultural experiences for all age groups. Primary consideration is given to programs directly benefitting the greatest number of Rockland citizens. We try to be as inclusive as possible with each event. The RCC always welcomes representative of an application during the Application Review process (dates are published in local newspapers) and advanced notification is appreciated. With regard to large grant requests, and in the interest of making funds available to a broad number of applicants, we are not always able to fund a full amount. Incomplete applications and/or applications without prior secured dates and venues are typically perceived as incomplete and risk rejection. Review your application carefully and make sure your information is complete before submission. Ten copies of your grant applications are
