The Saugus Cultural Council will hold it's Community Public Forum Meeting on Wednesday June 8,2016 from 5-6 PM in the library of the Veterans Memorial School. All are welcome to come and join us in an informal conversation regarding the arts and programing for the residents of our town!

The Local Cultural Council (LCC) Program is the largest grassroots cultural funding network in the nation supporting thousands of community-based projects in the arts, humanities, and sciences annually.
The program promotes the availability of rich cultural experiences for every Massachusetts citizen.
The Saugus Cultural Council (SCC) seeks to enhance the quality of life for Saugus residents by promoting and funding community cultural activities through the funding from the Massachusetts Cultural Council. The SCC awards a number of annual grants to individuals and organizations that are submitted with clarity of purpose that serve broad segments of the community and contribute to the cultural vitality of the community as a whole.
In order to apply for an LCC grant, applicants must meet all eligibility and criteria requirements of the LCC Program.
