PVPA Children's Theater (by Pioneer Valley Performing Arts Charter Public School)
Support for live theater performance of 'Goldilocks and the Three Bears...An Epic' at Mosier Elementary School by PVPA students.
Celtic Fire Concert (by Music on Main. Concerts at First Church in Amherst)
Performed by CitySingers of Hartford, a 20-voice semi-professional chorus and Celtic musicians known throughout the region for their reputable skill on Irish harp, wooden flute, fiddle, mandolin, concertina, bodhran, double bass, piano, pipe organ, and highland pipes.
Arcadia Players Spring 2013 Concerts

Viva Italia at Smith College in January; Shakespeare Concert at Mount Holyoke Abbey Chapel in South Hadley in March features 18th century music and contemporary pieces all based on Shakespearean themes.
Robert Frost presented by Stephen Collins (at Loomis Communities)
Hybrid lecture-performance for seniors at Loomis Village as well as in the community.
South Hadley Chorale Concert
26th annual concert at Abbey Memorial Chapel at Mount Holyoke College, it is the culmination of weekly rehearsals that begin in October. Chorus members are ages 20-91 years and come from 17 communities around the Valley, with about a third from South Hadley.
Pioneer Valley Jewish Film Festival
April 4-18, 2013
8th season event offers 28-28 films that would not otherwise reach local audiences at showings throughout the Valley. Screening and discussion with Prof. Larry Fine at Mount Holyoke College is planned for April 8 or 9.
Spring Concert with Novi Cantori
A capella concert with organ accompaniment at All Saint's Church in South Hadley.
Creativity Days: Bringing the Arts Together (brought to you by the South Hadley Cultural Council)
Project will feature art exhibits, demos, workshops, and presentations in the visual and performing arts.
South Hadley Children's Chorus
Sept 2012-May 2013
Vocal instruction and preparation for approx. 50 children, half from South Hadley, and half from other Valley towns, culminating in 6-7 concerts for intergenerational audiences and Big Sing West and WGBY-TV's Together in Song competition.
Clark Institute of Art (field trip for South Hadley High School students)

Cinco de Mayo Celebration (for South Hadley High School students)
Whole day residency by Markamusic ensemble with performances and workshops for all high school students.
Singers of United Lands (for Plains School, South Hadley)
In-school program with vocal quartet whose members are all from from different countries. Multicultural program with interactive activities and music for K-1 children.
ImprovBoston (for South Hadley High School students)
FY13 School Year
Interactive performance by one of the region's leading improvisation theater groups. Target audiences are grade 9-10 students, as well as the high school's improvisation group.
2013 Mass. Walking Tour Concert (organized by Mark Mandeville)
One of several local folk/bluegrass performances at sites on the Massachusetts Walking Tour route traveled by the musicians. Local artists are also invited to participate at each location. South Hadley's concert will be held at Beachgrounds Park (rain location: Town Hall).
Children's Songs and Singing Games (with Roger Tincknell)
Free, interactive public concert at Rise and Shine Academy for young children and families.
Dig Into Reading @ Your Library (Gaylord Memorial Library)
Interactive kickoff for 2013 summer reading program facilitated by educator Rachel Griffith of Teaching Creatures.
Dig the Beat (with Jay Mankita)
Participatory family concert/workshop at SH Public Library followed by a 'musical petting zoo'' so children can try the instruments. Program presented in connection with the Libary's Dig into Reading summer program.

South Hadley Summer Concert Series

Annual free concert series at South Hadley Town Common on Thursday nights during summer months. Come for the Farmer's Market, stay for the music!
Beachgrounds Block Party
The second annual community festival at the riverfront Beachgrounds Park in the Falls section of South Hadley. Kudos to the South Hadley Falls Neighborhood Association.
Quabbin: A History and Explorers Guide (at the South Hadley Public Library)
Michael Tougas presents a narrated slide presentation about the Quabbin Reservoir and demise of the 'lost' towns that were flooded to create it, construction, and how Quabbin works today. Adult program in conjunction with summer reading program to promote interest in local/regional history.
Annual Fall Musical (by the Black Cat Theater)

Rodgers & Hammerstein Concert (by Ruth Harcovitz)
The soprano and her pianist will present a program of selections from Rodgers & Hammerstein musicals at the South Hadley Senior Center. Free and open to the public.
