Funding Priorities
Proposals that reach an underserved population.
Proposals involving local artists.
Proposals reaching the broadest spectrum of our community.
New applicants or projects that are underrepresented in our community - especially those that are experimental or innovative.
Local Guidelines
Application submission must include original and 12 copies.
Applicants must demonstrate a local public benefit. Applicants must be residents or organizations in the city of Taunton or show proof that their efforts will significantly benefit the Taunton community.
Funds must demonstrate community benefit and may not be the sole means of support for a project .
Funds must not substitute or replace public funding.
Funds may not be used to purchase food.
Funds for field trip applications are for tickets or admissions only; transportation costs are not considered.
Funds used for Capital Expenditures - equipment, construction projects,
renovation, etc. - must demonstrate public benefit, have a life expectancy
of 3+ years and have a funding match of 2:1
