The Warren Cultural Council grants an annual scholarship in the amount of $1000 to a candidate from Warren or West Warren pursuing a course of study in the arts.
Applications for this year's Arts Scholarship are available at the Warren Public Library, the West Warren Public Library, and the Warren Selectmen's office. Completed applications must be postmarked by April 30.

Funding Priorities
LOCAL PRIORITIES: (Not in order of preference)
1.) Proposals for programs serving youth.
2.) Proposals for programs serving seniors.
3.) Warren or West Warren artists.
4.) Collaborative projects between cultural groups and community organizations.
5.) New applicants or projects that adhere to local policies.
Local Guidelines
LOCAL POLICIES:
The Warren Cultural Council will adhere to the following funding policies for yearly allocated state funds and/or funds raised by the local council:
1.) Funds may only be used to support programs in the arts, humanities, and interpretive sciences. We do not fund capital expenditures.
2.) Funds must be expended within a 12 month period; fiscal year is from January 1st to December 31st, or beginning when funds are transferred to the local account. Funds not used within the 12-month period will be voted on and allocated to other projects.
3.) We require that projects have a sponsoring agency in our community with a contact and with date and times in place.
4.) Acknowledgement will be given to the Massachusetts Cultural Council and the granting Warren Cultural Council in all newspaper and radio publicity, signage, and billboards. Proof of publicity must be submitted with the reimbursement form.
