The BCC is currently seeking new Councilors. By volunteering only a few hours each year, our community benefits greatly with programs in the arts, humanities and sciences that improve the quality of life for all town residents. Work with a congenial group of your neighbors in Blackstone who care about this community, and learn about what events are happening in town. We meet at convenient times in the public library. To apply to be a volunteer councilor, write to: Selectmen, Town of Blackstone, Municipal Center, 15 St. Paul St., Blackstone MA 01504.
We of the Blackstone Cultural Council are a small group of six members at the present time who are enthusiastic about bringing some culture into our town. We hold many of our programs at the local library but also contribute to music concerts in the area and they have all been well received and appreciated. Our members try to attend as many of the programs as possible and find our children programs especially well attended by the children as well as the parents. We hope to continue to service our community with the assistance of funds provided by the Massachusetts Cultural Council.
In order to apply for an LCC grant, applicants must meet all eligibility and criteria requirements of the LCC Program.
For more detailed information, refer to the full LCC Program Guidelines (PDF).
The Blackstone Cultural Council strives to enrich the lives of our children, our general public and our senior citizens through new experiences and various venues regarding the arts, humanities and sciences.
All applicants must reside in Massachusetts and must now complete their applications on-line at www.mass-culture.org.
Paper applications are no longer accepted.
An online application will be available September 1.
