Lincoln Cultural Council
The Lincoln Cultural Council (LCC) promotes and supports community events and individual artists’ endeavors. There is a special emphasis on providing grants to an assortment of programs that in aggregate represent a diverse cross-section of activities that appeal to various age groups.
Members of the council are volunteers who are committed to artistic expression and creative works and who are appointed by the Lincoln Board of Selectmen to represent the town.

FY24 Local Priorities
The Lincoln Cultural Council regularly surveys town members about their thoughts on the types of programs they would like to see. Based on this input, we have developed the following priorities:
The council will prioritize programs in the following:
Events in Performance and visual arts especially music and theater events and art exhibits
Events that explore the natural world
Events that explore local history
We are committed to bringing forward diverse voices and viewpoints.
FY24 Local Guidelines
In our decision making process:
We will give priority to programs that will take place in the town of the Lincoln or in one of the surrounding communities.
We will give priority to individuals and organizations who have already arranged a partnership with a Lincoln venue and/or organization.
We will give priority programs that will appeal to a diverse multi-generational audience. When scheduling events please consider evening and weekend times to be accessible to the most people.
