Marblehead Cultural Council

What We Do The Marblehead Cultural council is one of 351 local organizations that are funded directly from the Massachusetts Cultural council. We use our allocation to support community cultural activities. Board members are appointed by the Board of Selectmen. We review applications and award grants. We also accept and review applications from schools and youth groups for a ticket subsidy program. The Cultural Council meets at the Marblehead Community Center, 10 Humphrey Street. Meetings are scheduled September through December based on need. Generally additional meetings are scheduled between January and July if warranted. The Cultural Council is a very "hands-on" board and is always looking for people who are interested in and enthusiastic about expanding the availability of the cultural arts in Marblehead. Information may be found on the Town of Marblehead web site- or at cultural, or contact Chair person Hazel Grenham at 508-843-2743 o4 781-631-7511
