Northborough Cultural Council (NCC) Granting Priorities & Criteria
1. Priority is given to applicants located in and/or primarily serving the residents of Northborough.
2. Priority is given to applicants who have secured a local venue, preferably in Northborough or in surrounding communities. The venue should comply with ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) accessibility requirements.
3. Priority is given to applicants that specify a date for the project.
4. Priority is given to those projects that support the results of our most current community survey (in no specific order):
-Family oriented events,
-Events for young adults,
-Events for individuals with disabilities,
-Community-wide events,
-Multi-cultural events, and
-Programs presenting new ideas expanding artistic variety & diversity
5. NCC will also be using the following review criteria to evaluate applications:
-How well the program meets our local priorities
-Demonstrated planning
-NCC grant funds cannot be the sole source of funding for the project
