Application Information

FY24 Allocation

$7,300

FY24 Local Priorities

Plainville Cultural Council will accept online applications only.

Applications are considered with the following priorities in mind:

Projects that are innovative, collaborative, and creative.
Projects that address a community need or reach an underserved population.
Community-based programs and events.

Other considerations:

Grant awards typically range between $100 and $500. Larger grants are awarded by discretion of the Council.

Plainville-based applicants are given preference.

Each applicant must have the venue approved before submission and supply that information on the application form.

There will be a limit of three consecutive years for the same project to be submitted for PLCC funding by an applicant. However, the Council will carefully scrutinize repeat requests. Such proposals should include sources of support to show the project is not dependent solely on Council funding.

To reapply for a consecutive project, include information including date of last event, and the number of people who attended the event.

FY24 Local Guidelines

Preference will be given to applicants who:
have a local contact
have a site for their program/project
have a date
cite the approximate number of Plainville residents that will benefit from the program

Plainville Cultural Council encourages local residents to apply for grants.
