Quincy Arts Council

The purpose of the Quincy Arts Council and other LCCs is to encourage and foster local activities in the arts, humanities, and interpretive sciences. The principal way in which the Council does this is the awarding of grants to individuals, organizations and schools engaged in activities in these three areas.

Applications for 2023 grants may be submitted online from September 1 through October 17, 2022. Please note that 11:59 PM on October 17 is a hard deadline. Everyone is welcome to apply. The Council gives priority to projects that are Quincy-originated. The Council may decide to fund a project for the full amount requested, decide to fund a project for part of the amount requested, or decide not to provide funding for a project. Please note that Quincy Arts Council grants are made on a reimbursement basis.

In addition to the grant-making process, Quincy Arts Council has a broad, general mandate to foster the arts, humanities, and interpretive sciences in Quincy through other means.
