LCC Program Information - About Your LCC

Our Council is typically interested in funding grants for arts education in the schools, family and community projects, and cultural opportunities for children who would not have access without this funding. We have been very actively involved in promoting projects that foster and preserve Salisbury history.

In order to apply for an LCC grant, applicants must meet all eligibility and criteria requirements of the LCC Program.

Amount Available for Granting in FY 2018

The SCC gives high priority to applicants which offer cultural opportunities for children, particularly within the public schools. We strongly support the theater arts for children,and other arts education projects. The SCC prioritizes projects which focus on local history and which reach a wide audience. We prefer applications which can provide benefits to large groups which involve children and families.
