Framingham Cultural Council

The Framingham Cultural Council (FCC) supports activities that contribute to the cultural vitality of the community. Funds are used to support programs in the arts, humanities and interpretive sciences.

The Framingham Cultural Council awards grants to local cultural and educational organizations with funds provided by the Massachusetts Cultural Council. These funds are supplemented by local fund-raising and with the sale of the Framingham bracelet.

The Framingham Council Council is part of a new pilot program eliminating the requirement that awards made using the Mass Cultural Council allocation be reimbursement-based. During this pilot program, we will be making grant money available in full to grantees once their projects are approved. If you are awarded a grant, you will be required to submit a final report to the Local Cultural Council upon completion of your program.

Please read the full Supplemental Grant Pilot Guidelines.

Awards Reception The FCC hold an Awards Reception to recognize grant recipients and to designate the Cultural Council Contributor of the Year Award and a Special Recognition Award. In addition the FCC awards the Rita and Bill Collins Memorial Arts Scholarship.

Give the Framingham bracelet as a gift and support the Framingham Cultural Council

The Framingham Bracelet, crafted in sterling silver by Bell Enterprises of Framingham, was designed as a classic piece of jewelry to reflect Framingham's rich history.

The Victorian double-tulip design on the Framingham Bracelet was inspired by the decorative forms on the restored historic iron railing surrounding the Downtown Common.

This site was once a burial ground for Native Americans and is listed in the US Registry of Historic Places. It was redeveloped to provide a location for a variety of cultural events.

Proceeds from the bracelet support the work of the Framingham Cultural Council.

This elegant bracelet makes a treasured gift for any holiday or special occasion. It is priced at $150.00 with $60.00 tax deductable. If mailed, there is an additional charge for postage and insurance.
